Terms of Service

These terms are a contract between you and Michael Koken, trading as Stockonomy (sole proprietor) (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or paying for access, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use TradeDash.

1. Who can use TradeDash

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter a contract. You must give accurate registration details and keep them current. One account per person; accounts are for individual use and may not be shared, resold, or used by more than one person.

2. What TradeDash does

TradeDash is a trade journal. You import trades from a broker CSV export or enter them by hand, grade each one on Entry, Risk and Exit, track a running Dash, build a playbook of your setups, and review calendar and insight views built from what you logged.

3. What TradeDash is not

4. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at hi@stockonomy.co if you suspect unauthorised access.

5. Plans and pricing

Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax that may apply in your jurisdiction. Access begins immediately on successful payment. We may change prices, but a change will never affect a term you have already paid for, and we will give existing subscribers at least 30 days' notice by email before a renewal price changes.

6. Renewals and cancellation

The 30-day access plan does not auto-renew. It ends after 30 days and no further charge is made.

The monthly and annual plans renew automatically at the then-current price using your saved payment method, until you cancel. You authorise us to charge that method for each renewal.

We email a receipt for every charge. For annual plans we also email a reminder 7 days before each renewal, so a yearly charge never arrives unannounced.

7. Refunds

Every first purchase carries a 30-day, no-questions-asked money-back guarantee. The full terms are in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

8. Your data stays yours

You keep all rights to the trades, notes, tags, grades, playbook entries and images you put into TradeDash. You grant us only the limited licence needed to host, back up, process and display that content back to you so the product can function. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account.

We will not sell your trading data, publish your positions, or share your results with anyone. We may use aggregated, de-identified statistics that cannot be traced back to you or any individual trade to improve the product.

9. Acceptable use

Don't:

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches this section.

10. Imported data

TradeDash reads CSV files you provide. We don't control how your broker formats those files and we can't verify that their contents are accurate or complete. Broker formats change without notice and an import may fail or misread a field as a result. Check anything that matters before relying on it. Broker names are used only to identify file formats we can read; no partnership, endorsement or affiliation is implied.

11. Availability and changes

We aim to keep TradeDash available but we don't promise uninterrupted service. We may need downtime for maintenance, and we may add, change or remove features. If we make a change that substantially reduces core functionality during a term you've paid for, email us and we'll sort out a fair refund of the unused portion.

12. Ending your access

You can stop using TradeDash and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms, if payment fails, or if we're required to by law. Where it's reasonable to do so, we'll give you notice and a chance to fix the problem first.

On termination, you can export your data for 30 days before it is deleted.

13. Disclaimers

TradeDash is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any calculation or insight is accurate or complete.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any trading losses, lost profits, lost opportunity, lost data, or any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of TradeDash — whether or not we were told such damages were possible.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to TradeDash is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) $100 USD.

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against any claim, loss or expense arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the service, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Illinois, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, and both parties submit to their exclusive jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, or of the right to bring proceedings there.

Before starting formal proceedings, please email hi@stockonomy.co — almost everything can be resolved quickly and directly.

17. General

If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them to a successor in a merger or sale. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between us.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will email account holders at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use TradeDash after that means you accept the new terms; if you don't, cancel and, if you're inside your first 30 days, ask for a refund.
